Hey y'all! My name is Julia Welch and I'm a CFX Artist with about two years of professional experience. I started exploring CFX when I was attending The University of Texas at Dallas, where graduated with a BA in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications with a focus in Animation. At Mikros Animation and ReelFX, I worked as a Junior CFX Artist where I made cloth and hair sims for shots and side character cloth rigs for Thelma the Unicorn (2024), The Monkey King (2023) and SCOOB: Holiday Haunt (Shelved). I also have experience writing scripts within Python to create tools for my personal use while I work, as well as creating rigs and simple models, animation, and lighting.
